This is actually not a bad idea.

I don’t think you will find many people who disagree with this sentiment. However, they want you to go out and play every aspect of the game in order to get ascended stuff. Kind of goes against the whole “play how you want” philosophy, but it is what it is.

I have over 3K bloodstone, what trash, and I can’t sell it!

It seems pretty clear the entire system was designed around incentivizing players to branch out and pursue a variety of activities. Or, if you prefer, to bar people from advancing who only do one or two of the three categories.

I doubt they’re going to overturn a system just because its working.

They might if we can convince them that it’s not working. The fact that players have an abundance of one type and refuse to go after another, even though we know how to get it, is proof of that. It shows that they way they designed the system is not the way we want to play. An extra NPC can easily change that.

i would like to see the npc addition to level out the “extra” that one might get as we play the game as we like. not to overturn a whole system, but to compliment.

I am getting sick of throwing away t7 mats.

I’ve gone through tens of thousands of bloodstone and dragonite since they launched. I convert what I can to bricks, which although helps with a little of bit of crafting post 450-470…I’d love to be able to just vendor the stuff at least. Even 50c a dust would make it worth my while!!!

The system wasn’t that good o begin with (flood of bloodstone dust was an issue from the start), but the new boss schedule and the inability to check status of Orr temples by just looking at the map made it even worse IMO. Personally I have enough dragonite for my needs, but I’d HATE to be a new player just starting to gather his T7 resources. With the new boss schedule, good luck getting dragonite in reasonable time.

They should either introduce the NPC the OP mentioned, or tweak the system in some other way.
