Ascended rings
Salvage them with the Ascended Salvage Kit . Even if you sell the mats it will give you more gold than it costs.
Eh, I find that salvaging ascended rings usually nets me 0 profit. For a slightly better profit, attune the ring before salvaging it. That way you get two rolls on the loot table instead of one, and for just 30s more.
I asked the same question a while back:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/So-what-do-I-do-with-all-these-asc-rings
The consensus seems to be that infused rings are worth salvaging but the non-infused rings are not. I’ve now got about 50 rings sitting on an alt, all from low-level fractals and I can’t bear to sell them for a few silver each. That will probably change as bag space runs out…
How do you get ascended rings from PvP? I thought those were laurel exclusive

yeah always! even ascended armors or weapons, I dont know whatt to do with them.
you can get rings from fractals, pvp, ls2 and laurel vendor.
Necklaces are abit harder ls2 and laurel vendor.
I think I read that you can get rings/neck from raids aswell but dont quote me on that
As Ding says:
- Excess infused rings: salvage. Worth a minimum of ~1g (post tax).
- Uninfused rings:
- If you already have excess of all 3 types of mist essences, upgrade to infused and salvage. (No cost.)
- If you don’t, sell the rings to vendor (it costs ~1g to promote|demote mist essence).
Here’s why:
- Salvage kits per use cost is 1g + 2 relics (~1g) or 1g + 1 laurel (~1.8g in value)
- Uninfused rings almost always drop less than 4 Stabilizing Matricies (currently trading at ~25.5s each, i.e. 1.02g pre tax); average closer to 3 — it’s a loss on average.
- Infused rings drop double, so at minimum, you should see 4 (break-even).
