Guild Wars 2

So, the other day I got an Ascnded ring from Fractals of the Mists, just the stats I want/need. Epic, huh? but today I got the same ring, same stats, same name. What are the odds right? Feeling good I equipped it, only noticing that I kept un-equiping my other ascended ring. Odd? Yes. So I can’t recall any time that I have been told that I only can equip one unique item of the same name and stats. Yes, it is an “unique” item, but that doesent tell me that I can’t equip another one just like it. Now it is soulbound to my character who already have one and has become utterly useless. Maybe a warning or a notification is in hand here?
