There’s an item where you can change the stats on a piece if ascended armor, trinket, etc. (I forget the name right now.)

Does that allow you to change to ANY stat combination? For example, I’m trying to outfit my engineer as marauder. But, there aren’t any rings or accessories with those stats. If I buy one of those stat-swapper things, will I be able to pick marauder?

Ascended stat swap is currently for weapons and armor only.
You can easily farm the new LS3 maps for trinkets and back items, which you can select all HoT stats on.

1. Search for the attribute combination using the first or central column.
2. If there is a check mark in the “Predefined” column, go to the Trinkets with predefined prefixes table.
3. If there is a check mark in the “Selectable (Part of prefix family)” column, note the family and go to the Trinkets with selectable prefixes table.

For armor & weapons, you buy an Anthology of Heroes from Miyani (or her clones) and combine with 5 ecto, the original armor|weapon, and the exotic insignia|inscription with the desired stats. Thus, as long as you can craft|buy the exotic, you can transform the gear. Caveat: remove your infusions; gear is destroyed and replaced in the forge, since Zomorros always destroys what you donate.
