What is the difference between these two types of weapons besides Legendary can be sold on tp?
Does it take more effort to craft Legendary or Ascended weapon?
What about changing visual appearance trough transmutation charge? Possible for both types of weapon?

you can change its stats as much as you want

legendary takes more effort to make (and gold) and yea you can transmute em both

they have the same stats.
ascendet is faster and easier to make and its 10-20 times cheaper.
ppl " craft " legendary for skins not to be better.
a little info for you. in the shop are skins which are more expensive than legendarys.

The differences between Legendaries and Ascended are these;

Legendaries;
- Have unique (& purdy) skins
- Can change stats at will with a click of a button (outside combat)
- Can be sold on the trading post (for now)
- Take much much much longer, and more money and mats to make than Ascended

Ascended;
- Are account bound after being crafted (even after equipping)
- Can only change stats in the Forge with other items

There is no stat difference between Asc and Legendary at all.

One thing seems to be missing here. Once a legendary is equipped, it becomes account bound.
