Ascended weapon question
There are ascended weapon chests that can drop from:
- Fractals
- WvW rank chests
- Guild Missions
- Tequatl
- Champ bags
They are very rare though.

Heh I actually asked the Frostgorge farmers about that not very long after ascended weapons came out. The answer was about 1 in 1000 champ bags which would make the ascended weapons boxes 10 times rarer than the rate of precursor from the MF. Then there is the problem of the stat being random.
Seems like a token gesture just to say there are alternatives.
