So with ascension gear coming up, what happens to existing mystic forge exotics? I recall reading that the new rarity will have stats between legendary and exotic, but for everyone who has farmed/forged a Foefire weapon or mist weapon, they arent exactly cheap. Wouldn’t this mean that prices for the ingredients for these weapons would plummet? Wouldn’t it make it unnecessary and in fact, a waste to have gotten these Mystic Forge Weapons? Unless they are somehow implemented in the Ascension process, I find them totally unnecessary to get.
Unless you want them for the skin, it makes sense. However most players for ANY mmo typically go for the rarity factor, the rarer it is, the more they tend to gravitate to the skin.
ARE there any plans on what happens to these expensive exotics?
