Sorry for the noob post here, but I cant seem to find the maps for my asura and sylvari characters past the Brisband Wildlands…on both toons my story line takes me to Gendarran Fields.

Or do these two races not have their own maps past Brisband? Humans, Norns and Charrs all have their own maps all the way at least to level 70 (it seems Norns and Humans share maps after this point), so my assumption is that asura and sylvari would also have their own maps. And then there is all that real estate east and north of Brisband (Magus, Maguuma, Woodlands)…I was sure that these areas were for these two races. But I cant seem to find how to get into these areas.

Am I missing something?

brisband is current north west of all maps if you want to see lay out of maps you can do a google search there are interactive maps that show you all maps and objectives in them for map completion.

The map just south of LA is classed as a Sylvari map in my mind and so is the next one leading up to Orr. As for Asura I am sure we will get more soon for that part of the world just West/NW of their city when they open that part of the map up.

No, you aren’t missing anything. Brisband Wildlands is it. After that it’s shared with everyone else. There’s a Sylvari corner of Kessex Hills. Bloodtide Coast and Sparkfly Fen are also very jungly and might be considered a little more Asura and Sylvari themed.

OK understood, I appreciate all the responses…I guess the Asura and Sylvari got a little cheated out :P oh well.

Sylvari are young species wise compared to the Norn, Charr, and Human so they have less land than they do just due to sheer numbers and time it would take to spread out.

Asura while not as young as the Sylvari have only recently been pushed out of the underground. So they don’t quite have the expanse on the surface yet.

I’d imagine as GW2 gets older, more areas will open up that are more primarily Sylvari and Asuran.

Also Mount Maelstrom has a strong asuran and sylvari presence, being classed as Maguuma as well.

The next Living Story involves the Elder Dragon Mordremoth awakening in the Maguuma… perhaps they’ll open new map areas down there for us!
