Blackgate has the biggest oceanic population but it’s full. Jade Quarry is the next biggest. Lots of people 24/7.

Go with Sea of Sorrows. It’s also the unofficial Oceanic server.

Isle of Janthir also has a large AU pop. Used to be the unofficial oceanic server, back at launch.

Sea of Sorrows might be better for you though, now.

Sea of Sorrows has ALWAYS been the unofficial oceanic server – ever since before launch (don’t know what these others are saying)
We have a massive oceanic user base and there are a lot of guilds running around with the tag AUST or AUNZ. So definitely Sea of Sorrows. See you in game!

Majority of Oceanics from SoS have spread across other servers. A gigantic amount left and moved to Blackgate in Feb-March last year and a steady stream have been migrating to JQ and SoR since. SoS still has a big oceanic population, but not the biggest so I don’t know why they still call themselves the unofficial oceanic server. At least 2 other servers have bigger oceanic populations.

Truth.

It was the same since beta testing. Just because other servers have oceanic pop’s as well, thanks largely to run-off from WvW scattering early last year as mentioned, doesn’t mean they should have the mantle that SoS has always had.

That being said, SoS is always busy with a fair few yanks and even some euro’s popping in on the early hours of the Aussie mornings.
