How many people play without auto attack?

Also what weapons would feel good having it on?

I’ve been wondering this since I’ve stopped using it on my warrior, everything feels so much meatier and in control. It’s a personal preference and I know it’s not the best in maxing dps but I feel it’s adding the control I’ve been looking for in combat. I feel as if I killed the enemy instead of waiting for my auto attack to kill something for me.

This is just personal opinion, I’m not going into dps but rather how fun it would be.

He means since you dont use AA’s when your CD skills are on CD, do you just stand there and not use the auto attack until your other skills are back online?

I don’t play without auto attack, because if I spammed the 1 skill manually, I’d end up with carpal tunnel syndrome. I probably would anyway.

To those who don’t get what the OP is saying, he’s turned off auto attack in his game options, so he manually uses every skill, including the 1 skill, with an actual key press.

I agree the combat would feel more in control. I could brag about it to the surgeons who’d have to sew my finger back on. lol

Ah OK I see. Actually it is somewhat embarassing but on my guardian when I get right into the combat I often mash 1 inbetween my skills, I’m still not sure why.

While skills are on CD I time my #1 pressing to activate as soon as the cast is done, it usually doesn’t take long for my cds to come back up, also I like to use a priority system where my #1 attack is the lowest variable so i’m constantly checking cd timers also I save some of the longer cds for when I need them and I feel as if I’m on top of things.

Try not to mash the #1 skill it’s fun when you can time it.

I play with auto attack off. It’s actually faster to makittenhan it is to allow your character to auto attack. It also give you more control.

Must mash, my Asura demands it.
