Auto clicker to open chest , illegal or not
You’ll get banned. I am banning you.

Have you ever play " Clicker Heroes " ? A game similar to Guild War 2
Yep – It’s not allowed and can end in a ban, although I personally think that is unlikely but would never risk my account like that.
I just bind click to the mouse wheel Totally legal and you can smash those bags open!
I hear you can somehow bind the scroll wheel on the mouse to rapidly click to open bags. I’m not exactly sure how.
Autohotkey is what most use to bind the mouse click to the scroll wheel.
There’s a stickied Dev post at the top of this forum. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Policy-3rd-Party-Programs-Multi-Boxing-Macros
I have more than 2000 chest from farming in Silver Waste . I don’t mind if i have to click more than 2000 times to open but i found a software call : " GS auto clicker " which is very helpful . But i still have to ask , does it count as " Third party software " and i’ll banned if i use it ?
- “GS autoclicker” is a third party program.
- It maps one key stroke to multiple actions in-game, and therefore not officially permitted.
However, that doesn’t automatically mean you’ll get banned for using it. It just means that, if ANet finds out three years from now that you used it today, they are acting within their own guidelines to suspend your account or even shut it down.
I use mouse keys that comes with windows: I press the plus sign on the numpad, which acts like a double-click. It’s easier on my hand and easy enough to change the fingers you use to press it.
I use “X-Mouse Button Control”, a free utility for Windows that allows you to customize and redefine mouse behavior more extensively than any other tool I’ve seen. The Logitech software I used to use is a bad joke compared to this thing.
It allows you to create per-application settings. One of the things I’ve set it up to do is to have the mouse-wheel perform a double-click, but only when I hold down shift and CTRL at the same time. It’s a comfortable and rapid way to eat away at those stacks yet it respects the one-click-one-action rule.
I should add, it’s not a macro tool.
Anet is deliberately unclear on this.
In terms of autoclickers to open loot bags it’s pretty much ‘as long as you don’t do anything else while opening the bags nobody can tell and nobody cares’.
