Sometimes the auto loot mastery function causes it so that you cannot loot the big chest after killing Vinewrath. You do not get loot when approaching or trying to interact with the chest. In fact you cannot even select the chest.

Never happened to me,nor to anyone i know.

When you stay near gates,at vw,when boss is killed,loot goes automatically in your bag,but sometimes you get loot so "amazing"from main meta event chest,you do not notice getting it at all.Aka 1 green item.

Auto loot has a huge range, if you pay close attention you’ll notice you get the loots right before the death of VW cinematic happens.

Also does not work into wvw.
So have to spam aoe loot the whole time.

Is this a known bug or anything to prevent more lag into wvw?

It’s a bug that was made into a feature. The original cause for that is that autoloot crashed wvw.
