Q:
Automatic/Macro Gear Swap
GW1 has that system built in where you can load up a saved build onto your characters, and it worked pretty well, Devs have stated that they wanted that in this game was well, but it’s not really #1 on the list of things they are doing atm.
As for a 3rd party macro, hard to say.
The current stance is “one key press per binding only”. Since I very much doubt that what you want would be done in one binding, I think it would fall outside the currently accepted parameters.
In simple terms: I wouldn’t if I was you.
That said, I too wish for the ability to save and quick load different builds.
A dev hinted that it will be coming. But when? Idk. probably in a year or so :P
Like ProxyDamage said its “one key press per binding”, so if you were to map a separate task per key, you could probably get away with it, but you’d have to hit a lot of keys to do that, if you can even manage something like that.
Please give us a keyring…
Well, this thread appears to be 1 year old. I see nothing in the game to address this. I cannot understand why something as simple as gear sets being able to be loaded into a specific option so you don’t have to go rummaging around in your bags for all the gear, accessories and weapons you wish to swap out along with a trait swap option to go with it.
Granted, it needs to be necessary you are out of combat and such, but still….other games have this ability…what happened to GW2?
Is it still being considered?
