I was wondering if anyone else would want this, or am I just being a lazy girl.

I would like those “Your post has been moved” messaging the forum moderators send to have an automatic deletion timer on them. Deleting messages from the mailbox seems to have a lot of clicking, and you can’t actually go in and mass delete. Some days I can get 10-12 of those.

Just wondering, would any else also wish that those messages automatically deleted themselves after a certain timer?

This probably goes into the forum is broken, Anet no longer works with the contractor that made it and do not have the resources to fix it themselves file. Meaning unless that is already an option coded into the forum there is probably nothing Anet can do to fulfill your request.

I just ignore them. I don’t use the forums for socializing, really, so I don’t send/receive many PMs that aren’t moderation notices.

Sadly . . . this. No idea why ANet just doesn’t hire someone else to do a new forum and/or transfer threads. The old VN boards ran on a shoestring, and yet somehow they made it work.

Of course, there were other issues . . . but let me not go there.

Might depend. A forum poster messaged me and when I tried to answer, it said their cap has been reached and it wouldn’t let the PM go through. I had to answer when I saw them in game.

Of course it’s remotely possibly the forum PM just might be bugged. :P

But, then if all those “Your post has been moved” messages were deleted, my PM section would be empty.

No, they count. I discovered the same ‘feature’ you did, and was able to receive messages past the 100-limit (after some time/amount), up until somewhere after 500-550. Not sure why I hit a wall, again, but hoping I will scale it yet again, as I did sometime after 100 (might have been at 150 or 200, not sure, just know I was able to receive messages again, instead of getting the ‘Full’ error/message).
