There are probably too many things to mention in one post.. but yesterday I zoned into the 70-75 orr zone I forget the name. I ran around exporing and found a hospital with Vigil in it. So I usually like to talk to NPC’s to find out what’s going on but the hospital was immediately blown up by some unseen siege weapons (along with myself inside it) And invaded by Risen so I got back as quick as I could and drove them out and saved the place.
What I love is that no matter where you are you aren’t safe at an outpost. You always have to be on guard and the NPC’s can die along with you and help defend it. The merchants can’t sell when they are being attacked and in order to interact again you gotta save the place. It feels like a real living dangerous place when there is no safe spot unless you head back into the city or a massively fortified town.

Anyway I am curious what other people have experienced that just make them so excited to talk about?

Honestly aside from the random events which are cool all on their own and the massive amount of ways to level (crafting, exploring, gathering ect) I came across the random puzzles the first being in Lions Arch with the dead pirate directly behind the waterfall. Now I am looking for ALL the puzzles as who seriously could pass those up?!

The sheer visual awesomeness of the Claw of Jormag encounter. The fight itself is fun, but I stop for a second every time I see the spectacle that is that fight (not going into more detail to avoid spoilers for those who havent been there yet).

I though the Ash Horizon popping up and doing it’s thing was a pretty big deal when I saw it.

Going to the Durmand Priory in Lornar’s pass, (Well Lornar’s pass in general) was just breathtaking.

I was just bending over to pick some herbs when I noticed the sky got darker for a second as a huge shadow passed over me. I looked up and saw my first dragon in Tyria and couldn’t help but let a low “woah” escape my lips.

As is my way, I just picked a random area on the map, and headed off to explore. The journey itself, a combination of swimming and cliff jumping, was worth it alone. Swimming down one particular river, I decided on a whim to see what lie in the unexplored lands to my left. Just as I scaled the side of a mountain making it onto the plains that lie atop, I was greeted by a fearsome sight enveloping the whole of my view. Galloping down a trail from one side of the map to another were groups of Centaurs – many groups of Centaurs -in what seemed an endless procession numbering several score of the beasts at the very least. The sheer magnitude of scale, combined with the fear tinged awesome of such a force moving with such deadly purpose, stopped me cold in my tracks. I had never seen anything quite like it before … yet to know wherever this massive army was headed, there would be an equally determined band of players to meet this tidal wave of destruction head on -made it even that much better.

“I’m always achieving greatness!”

Are you talking about the shatterer? I was in awe with that also, seeing that thing fly through the sky wondering when he’s going to land..

Being able to play a pig. What more can a person ask for?

Well, I’d love to be able to play a skritt, but I’ll settle for the pig.

Spoiler….do not read on if you have not read “Ghosts of Ascalon”.

Found Killeen’s grave (character from the book “Ghosts of Ascalon” {both books are well worth the read by the way})……both joyed from actually finding and very sad from finding it. She’s one of my favorite characters that I’ve ever read about.
