Since the patch BL salvage kits seem to be broken. I burned through a whole kit and did not receive a single ecto. Given a 50% chance per salvage this means this should not happen, especially since I spent $3 for this kit.

I generally purchase these fairly regularly, but I won’t be buying anymore of these until they are fixed.

I’ve always had better luck with the mystic kits

Perhaps it’s not a bug. Maybe with the intro of ectos as ascended currency, they intentionally reduced the rate of gain for BLSK.

the ecto salvage rate of black lion kits is not and never was 50%

that number only reflects the chance of getting an ori instead of a mithril and etc.

are you sure you were only using it on level 68+ items?

Mine worked fine, did 3 rares, got 2 ectos. RNG.

Im using bl salvage kit and i still got remaining 9pcs.. I received around 20 ecto from salvaged equips..

kindly check the level of items you are using.. Maybe you farmed dungeon tokens and traded it to rare items.. E.g. AC dungeon… The level of ac equips is 35

I’ve always had far better luck with black lion kits and I’ve salvaged a LOT of rares. Master and mystic kits are no where near as successful.

I think this is, as some people have said, a RNG issue or input error. (Not using higher level Rares/Exotics.)
