Q:
BL Weapon Skins
A:
Yes, generally.
Of course, some will net you a better profit compared to others, depending on supply and demand.
The point isn’t really about making profit, it’s about what will give you the best turnover over time. Some tickets will jump up a good 30g+ as soon as they are made to cost more tickets, but will peak around there. Others will take a long time to climb up in price, but might peak around 300g+ (take some of the chaos weapons, for example). It depends on how many others had the same idea to buy the skin and sell for profit- people will pick the popular series and popular weapon (sword, gs, staff etc).
The risk here is if they get reintroduced as one ticket again.
Something else I’ve seen is that it’s often the “less popular” weapons (such as a pistol skin) that cost the most on the TP. Once again, there is a risk here that it might be more difficult to sell.
Well, from my experience i can say that it’s surely worth the risk. The question is not “will i get profit?”, but “when will i get profit?” The problem is that it might take up to an year (and more) to get you an acceptable profit. If they don’t get an increase in value when they need 3-5 tickets to be bought, they’ll surely get it once they can’t be bought with tickets at all… but that might take a pretty long time
Patience is the key. As the person above said, it’s merely a matter of how long you can hold the skins. They will always increase eventually. Dragon Jade skip ns are a perfect example. At one time so plentiful they were about 40g avg per skin. Look at them now.
