I thought these were getting under control? There are rampant teams of bots roaming the areas and yes ANET does nothing.

Oh you can say report report BUT NOTHING is being done. And why are they even there? Other games do not have this issue (other good games).

What a joke this game is turning out to be at level 80 also.

Unless you work in the Anet office or have insider info, you cant claim ‘nothing’ is being done. They have even posted a sticky thread at the top of the page informing us of their plans.

As for other games not having the problem…. lol

Other MMOs do have this problem. They always have. Even the giant of them all World of Warcraft has always suffered from botting. I agree however that Anet need to come down hard and get rid a lot faster than they are currently doing. It is ruining the game experience for a lot of people.

Maybe other Asian F2P MMO’s, but I dont see packs of roaming bots in AAA titles like Rift or that game that shall not be mentioned.

And they arent doing anything. I see the same packs day after day no matter what their PR spits out.

No, but a worrying amount of people think that their opinion is fact.

The reality is that he may have the name of a botter that he reported and can see that the account is not currently banned, but that’s about all he can check.
