These bot accounts could be a bit more creative dont you think? I mean really, if you see players named “Jkjkjkjkj” or “Nklhnbggohh” 9 times outta 10 they’re bots. GW2 gives the most freedom of any mmo on name creation and these bot account derps are still relying on auto generated gibberish making it so obvious of their intentions. Sorry if you are a real player with the name “Jkjkjkjkj”. In your case you are just a bad player for choosing that name on purpose. The sad thing is no matter how obvious the name, the attack repetition, or camped position, or the emotionless stare they give lol, they are still swarming this game like a disease. I would say just look for these dumb names and start reporting but honestly you cant stop a roach infestation by just killing the roach.

At least they are not taking away names that real players would want to use someday…

You got it all wrong bots are hard to spot which is why they hired a team of experts to solve the problem. I would say there doing a heck of a job so far wouldn’t you?

Some bots cant be stopped but most can. An expert bot guy is going to get around most things you try just like the virus writer/anti virus guys going in circles.

Most of the time, their account name is the same. I saw a pair of bots with the account name ewewew while the other was wewewe. Some of them go with another aproach, naming them after someone. For example I’ve seen a bot with the account name LadyGaga.

where and how did you see it? i have yet to see a bot in the game but the mails i get from goldsellers could possibly be bots.
