I’m making a valkyrie set to try. Made a weaponsmith backpack but i can’t pick valkyrie. Any reason why?

I just made it up to the rare back piece (intricate weaponsmith’s backpack), and I was able to choose Valkyrie stats.

Edit: After promoting it to the highest level back item, the valykrie stat option disappeared. It was only available for Intricate and Ornate; once you get to Elegant, it’s gone. Kind of weird.

Yes, the lvl 78 exotic weaponsmith back.

Edit: Sorry for the slow response, i waited a while then went back to gaming.

As someone suggested ingame, i’ve decided to use the lvl 60 backpack to get the stats i want. As far as i know this is the only workaround to an unjustifiable overlook. Actually no, you don’t code the correct stats for a lower tier backpack then code the wrong ones or the upper one, you use the same ones. They MEANT it to be like this.
