I looked in options several time, didnt see a way you increase the A D scrolling?
Can only turn fast with camera?
So how am I supposed to play? hit r to auto run, rotate around with mouse, then that leaves what to select my spells with? if A D rotating were faster you could click skills, but as it is now is very slow.

How did you all play this for 3 years without complaining about this? you just bend over and take it?

People don’t a complain about it because by and large they use keys to activate the skills, like they should be doing.

There are some people who click skills, I’m not really sure how they are doing with the current speed…

Though for the last 3 years I have been useing hot keys 12345qwerf for my skills… so I can move and hit them just fine.

Nothing against people who like to click to use skills, most people feel they play FAR better when useing hotkeys to activate.

Use your mouse for moving and turning. Your keyboard is for strafing and activating skills.

Congratulations. You’ve just figured out why no decent player would use A and D to turn their characters and why no decent player would click their skills, all at once.

A D for strafing. Default bindings are senseless.

Eh, the default movement binds (qweasd) are fine, especially with the use of the right mouse button. The skill/dodge/action ones all needed to go immediately, though.

And you hardly need a G600/something similar, a mouse with 4 extra buttons will let you cover all of the skills in GW2 with ease.

right, but if i am using mouse to look around i still need to move forward?, very hard to hit 6789 keys when im focusing on W. I don’t see how you guys play like this.

GWcurious do what I said… 1-5 are your normal hot bar attacks, qwer are your 4 sloted skills, and f is your elite. Prety easy set up with quick access to every skill. No fancy mouse and keyboard needed

1 last edit.. You can also left+right click and hold to move/turn quickly… Some times useful sometimes not, but it might help.

I use 12345 for normal attacks. All my utility skills are keybinded to my mouse.
My elite skill is ’’x’’. I use a,w,d,s, for movement.
Everyone has is own style.

You can easily re-program the controls, I’m used to ctrl+numbers from another game so I re programmed the 6,7,8,9 skills to crtl+1 through 5. 5 being elite skill.

Tweak around find what works for you, experiment in low level area’s till your comfortable with the controls.

There is no need for a fancy mouse unless you want one.

You can also change the camera speed. It’s under options, general options, Camera (Beta).
