Yesterday at night, i had read the Changelog of this update. So i asked myself: why do they always “balance (=nearly only nerfing the char. and sometimes buffng some char.)” the professions and why is anet not reseting the wvw stats or give us some real ingame content??
only cause of some whining players (now i am also whining), who just can push the “1”-button, they ccant concentrate on the real intresting stuff.

specially on my char (mesmer) the point: quickness is a real issue…

‘Reduced quickness from 100% attack speed to 50%.
As we push to improve balance in both PvE and PvP, a few mechanics in the game will be receiving updates to promote fun and balanced play. In the past, quickness has granted double the action speed normally available to players. In PvP, this speed gives most players almost no chance to react to incoming abilities and allows for massive spike damage in extremely short periods of time. In PvE, the increased attack speed can trivialize a lot of content that would otherwise provide a good challenge. Therefore, we are reducing the speed that quickness allows by half of its current potential while slightly increasing the duration on player-activated skills.’

I just can talk about the quickness thing, but for the other professions there also must be an known issue!

hope yoou change that behavior anet!

I could see spikes in PVP but I don’t really care for PVP much as it’s not as fun as GW1’s PVP

The reason for PVE was just stupid
With the long cool downs of all quickness skills you are not some unbelievable bad*** constantly pwning something at 2×. The game’s challenge has many variables and attacking 2x fast for a short time (I don’t consider 2x Time Warp to be game breaking in PVE and that’s the longest at 10 seconds) hardly makes a dent in content that players deem as very hard. I would like to know what ‘trivial’ content got an dev so but hurt that they had to nerf it.
