Balth outfit 4th dye option
Agreed.
Other outfits have this problem too – even armor pieces on certain races (TA heavy shoulders on a Charr have 1 dye channel that does nothing yet works for the other races)
I would absolutely love it if we could change the glow color on the Balth outfit.
That would be awesome, you could really match the outfit to your weapons with this.
I think it would be awesome if the 4th slot could change the glow color, because I find some colors clash with the orange. Adding an option to that unused slot would open up more possibilities to really rock that outfit.
I’m pretty sure Balthazar would approve of this too!
I have a better idea: convert the 6 components of the outfit into, I don’t know, maybe armor unlocks? You could dye them to your heart’s content. Yes, it’s bound to clip when mixing, but clipping is a way of life in GW2. We can handle it.
Yeah definitely. I hate having one dye slot available to mess around with that doesn’t actually do anything. I’d love to be able to change the “lava” colour to something more appropriate for the character that it’s on.
So long Treeface.
“…Kormir? I know not of whom you speak.”
I do find it matches a bit with the Charr weapons, but do we really want everyone who wants to wear this outfit Grey and orange…
Idk since it’s an unused slot I would just think it could be an easy fix. Armor unlocks are always better but Anet loves outfits, so I won’t ask for that but yes please let us dye that glow Q.Q Other than the glow its one of my favorite outfits so far.
Also with talking to people in game a lot admitted they would purchase it if the glow could be changed :/ so you know…revenue?
I wish the glow could change, orange is not my fave color so I get tired of looking at it fairly quickly. However, if they could offer player-dyeable particle effects, we’d be seeing that in a lot more places.
I think it would be more feasible for the engraving lines on the armor to get their own dye channel. That would help break up the giant block of monochrome we get from the metal parts.
