Guild Wars 2

For the past 3 weeks I have been glued to this list http://www.gw2state.com/temples.html

and it does not open. We tried getting some guildies together to do the event but it failed. Personally I couldnt care less about Orr and n fact would love to have the area even more unplayable, but the only thing I dont like is the fact that I need Obsidian shards which are only sold with karma there. Anet, maybe give another option on how to buy them with karma in a place where it isnt 24/7 contested, like an relatively soloable or 5-man event which leads to the vendor maybe?
