Has there been any discussion about expanding the bank tabs limitations past 11? I’d already purchased the max amount before I received the extra bag slots from HOT and I can not use, sell or gift them, but would much prefer to be allowed to have even more space in My bank.

Would be nice, and would potentially sell more bag slots in the gem store.

I think having a reasonable maximum is part of a sales strategy. That way, when they have a sale, people will buy as many to max them all out. If the max was like 30, that would make people think that it’s too ridiculous to max it out, and they’ll set their own “max”, purchasing only what they need.

Maybe contact support to refund them? I really doubt you need that many space anyways.

What extra bank space from HoT? I may be remembering wrong but I thought HoT gave you a character slot, not a bank slot.

If you’ve bought a bank tab you can’t use you should contact Support and get it refunded.

It’s also a way of keeping the in-game economy going. With infinite storage space people can just hold on to absolutely everything if they want to. With a limited amount of space there’s more incentive to sell things you can’t use right now (and may not use ever)

The things I don’t use usually I just keep it on other character.

I personally find the bank tab sufficient.

My error, I do know that I got them as part of ‘something’ and I did not buy them directly as I was already maxed.

And I can agree one can manage their banks differently than another.. I do have a weakness for hoarding. But I don’t buy the storage ex panders for a reason.. regular bank expansions would have been more usable.

Stupid true story:

I remember one time on the gem store I bought out the “max” amount of bank tab slots (12) but the advertising said something along the lines of “you currently have 11 of these” and me thinking “Oh, I wonder if it’s bugged and I can get 13…” Bought 1 more and it won’t let me use it, haha. To this day that bank tab expansion still sits in my bank (ironically), awaiting the day ANet decides to increase the cap, if ever. A blessing that would be.
