Am I missing it? With the semi-pvp-to-pve conversion done while I was away, I am a bit mystified if these weren’t added to Heart of the Mists?

It’s an oversite, either mine (not finding them and they exist) or the developers for not placing them there.

There is no bank/trading post in the Heart of the Mists because if there was, people anywhere in the world could enter PvP to bank and use the trading post, then click the “Leave the Mists” button to return to wherever they were beforehand. That would remove the necessity to waypoint/travel to towns.

Now, people can do the same thing with World vs. World, which doesn’t have a bank but does have a trading post. So technically adding a trading post to the PvP lobby wouldn’t change anything. But I imagine it’s deliberate intent that neither WvW nor PvP has a bank.

Actually, there is a bank, as well as a Guild bank, in WvW. I use them often.

With the advent of the new Home Portal Stone, I doubt there will ever be a Bank or TP in the PvP Lobby. But, who knows?

well back before the april 15th patch there was a bank for your pvp weapon, sigils an such. there was also a mystic forge, with pvp rewards for glory. now there is no mystic forge, or pvp armor for storage it is found in your bank of fashions
