Hi! have a question i have several friends who played aion with me and went to guildwars2 but some of them quit and went back to Aion and for those who quit gw2 if they give me their gold or items in game will i get ban for it?. i had one friend which i played for 3 years gave me 28 gold will i get in trouble for this?

Majority of my friends still play gw2 and some quit and went back to playing Aion. for those who quit they wanted me to trade my kinah(Aion currency) to gold here in gw2 is this bannable? Thank you very much!.

In principle. No, not bannable.

In practice, people’ve been banned for receiving gifts because arenanet flagged it up as possible real money trading. The same people were unbanned fairly quickly though once they appealed

This doesn’t answer your question, but I have to ask: Did they say why they went back to Aion? If it’s the vertical progression thing, that’s the silliest thing I’ve ever heard of, as Aion is a giant gear treadmill, and totally smothered in elitism and exclusion by many of the players at the top tier.
If this isn’t the reason, I’m just curious to know what the reason is, as I also came from Aion and couldn’t imagine going back now that I’ve been playing GW2 for a few months.

the reason they came back was this game is too buggy and they didnt want change >< they also mentioned that they had a lot of time invested in that game just a few went back indeed that game is grindy as hell
