No it’s not bannable, SweetFX does not alter any game files, nor does it affect gameplay in any way or form. As for settings, I’m using my own settings but I change them often to fit my mood. I also like experimenting!

If you bought the game via ncsoft write to customer support and see if they will give you the discount price and refund the difference.

They often do for new purchasers when the sale price kicks in so quickly afterwards.

That is not true. In many stores they will go out their way and do a refund or refund you the difference.
Not every store is based on pure profit. Customer loyalty is very important too. Specially in delicate situations where you pay something and the next day its on a big discount.
I’m not talking about bread, milk or something here. But more expensive stuff.

Actually that’s not really true if it’s within a day or two. I bought a TV at a place that went on sale 2 days later.
I could have returned it for a refund because I was still within 7 days and bought it again. But the store knew that and so they refunded the difference. This was recently but other similar things have happened in the past.
There’s no really good reason for a company to make a couple of extra bucks if they’re kittening off a customer in the process.
Well I know one thing for sure, steam doesn’t give a kitten if you bought before a big discount. But who knows, anet do have very good customer service .. Give it a shot.
But I promise you that GW2 is worth so much more than 60$ though.
