Hey , I’m not familiar with PVE but I recently heard that completing bazaar ambassador achievement was giving a daily quartz crystal, but I have 2 questions :

- Is it still possible to do that achievement or is it an event ?
- If it’s still possible , how to do it since it seems to be in lion arch ? and actually we can’t access this zone.

Living Story event. Because of the temporary nature it’s gone. ANet might bring it back but doubtful. The underlying idea is: temporary content, limited number of players have it, means those players get to feel special. Not sure how the majority of the players base feels about it, seems those that do not have want these limited items back, those that do have it are happy with the way it is.

No, it would be an archived LS meta achievement. You can access LA (at least about kitten minutes out of the hour), it is where the current LS event is going on.

I don’t have the Crystal Node, nor do I especially want any past Living Story releases to come back, other than those that are recurring, like the Festivals and Holidays, and such. I think that Node came from the Zephyrites, so it may be available once again, when they return. Not sure.

Yup the node was from the meta achievement for the Bazaar of the Four Winds living story event.

It’s sort of implied that the Bazaar will be returning yearly, so it’s a definite possibility that the node will be attainable in the future – if it isn’t then celestial gear becomes a little too unattainable for new players which is not cool/

Just to clarify though, the achievement and node were earned in a new map called Labyrinthine Cliffs which was only accessible for a short time.

Everything I find on internet seems to say that quartz crystals are only obtainable by those 2 methods.

The quartz crystals themselves are not account bound, and can be purchased from the trading post. However, keep in mind that it takes 25 of them to make a charged crystal, and only one can be made per day, and you’ll need 30 of them for a full set of exotic armor.

Hey Mydnyght!

If you want the crystals to make celestial you have two options:

1. Buy them from the Trading Post
2. Join a party with someone who has the home instance node, wait for them to enter the instance, and then join them in the instance. You can now mine their quartz node!

Either way, once a day you can combine 25 crystals into a rare quality one that is used in the celestial insignias.
