playing or browsing the forums??

Forums. Not at my game PC as often as anything with a browser.

Playing, 100%. I browse forums when I’m between bouts of playing…like now.

Well I usually have my tablet on when at my game rig, depending on the game I’m on forums, chat, voip, using game guides, monitoring the weather outside my lofty tower, or messing with mp3 play lists. But since the patch, my 1MB/s broadband connection is having problems staying connected to GW2 servers (but not any other game), so here I am watching TV (SG1 movies) in the living room trolling forums with my laptop again. About 70 degrees outside right now…

Playing. If I browsed these forums all day, I’d get banned for antagonizing all the idiots lovable players who constantly whine about everything.

Actually, today I’m spending more time of the forums, because I’m in pain. It hurts to use the mouse for some reason, making playing iffy. I got my daily though, and did some WvW before I made myself log.

I’m only browsing the forums from work (I’m working on a PC, so it’s only a click) and occasionally in the morning before going to work. In the afternoon/weekend when I have time to do my freetime stuff, I hardly ever think about coming to any game forums, because freetime is precious.:P

I read forums every day while I’m eating. I play pretty much all the time otherwise when I’m not fishing. Just love this game too kitten much.

I use the forums while im at work. So I don’t even think that counts as spending time here, considering im getting paid to read this.

There are times when the forums are just as entertaining as the game, so I do come here frequently!

browsing the forums… I don’t find the game all that good atm, but patching is going in the right direction just very slowly. So I still have hope that GW2 will be a game that I find worth playing one day, so I stick around at the forums.

Honestly playing, 95% playing, 5% forums.

Also, only 5% forums because I can ‘sneak’ reading, posting on the forums well at work but have not yet figured out how to play games at work without being fired…lol

I usually spend more time playing than browsing but today I’m here because the servers are in a mess. TP is down 50% of the time, there’s lots of lag and it’s been tough even logging in.

Playing the game, definitely.

Forums maybe at home lol i actually dont wana waste my time ingame, i only log in if someone need me really, otherwise i dont log i start a big dislike for these game actually.

Playing ofc. I only browse the forums like once/twice per day :p

Forums haven’t logged into the game in weeks bored senseless same old same old I check the forums maybe once a week in the vain hope something mind blowing changes.

Since I detect a programming background I wanted to remind you of the concept of multi-tasking, preemptive and non. Most of us here (not all) devote time slices to both activities. To the extent that meets the definition of multi-tasking you could say that we are doing both activities over the course of a day.

If I’m able to play the game, I play the game. Forum browsing never wins.

Forum browsing is for times where I don’t have access to the game.

I check forums after my eyes start bleeding in-game….once in a while… if I haven’t nodded off in my chair…

Playing. The RNG and Mystic Toilet are more logical and predictable than the forum mods.

Definatelly spend more time ingame xD i only look at forums at some moments when i need a break or get a chance to at work.

if you spend more time on the forums i think its time to just.. play something else : p
until a patch that makes the game fun for you comes along anyway

Since this last patch, forums.

I’m bored in game. Yeah, I can do my daily, but I’m not a laurel chaser, if I earn some, awesome! if I don’t, eh, that’s ok too.

I have the second half of F&F story to do, and then not much else.

The only other thing I’m doing is working from a list I found online to discover/learn through bought recipes – all the cooking recipes in the game. I just wish cooking had more of a use and the items were desired by other players.

The cooking profession is so well thought out and so intricate. So much detail and all players want from 100’s of recipes are the omnomberry bars. Shame.

Playing, up until the last patch. Now I do the Daily and log out.

A spike of game activity after every major patch, then spending time debating the changes and such.

SAME! I’m actually at ‘work’ now.. I am usually 99% of the time on the forums during my 7 hour shift!

as of the past week forums, but mostly playing, I usually only come to the forums when my game is updating, or I am at school :p

I spend more time praying that they make the game better than what it is, coming back update after update and being let down every time. Especially with the last wvw update. It just feels like they don’t care about it. Or that they only care about casual gameplay.

Both. I spend a lot of time in the forums and in the game.

You keep browsing the forums hoping for some awesome sauce. You are disappointed. Every month.

Forums for sure, but that’s only because I work graveyards at a job with not much to do at night but with internet access.
