Not much love for the beards. When I see new hairstyle updates I always look in hopes of finding new longer beards. Would love to see some long beards, from chest length to belt length added to the hairstyle options. Think of all the $$ you’d make. I’m willing to bet a lot of players would pony up for some custom beards.

There are a good amount of players I’ve met who sport beards, and some of them want longer ones. But just think of the clipping issues it would create having a long beard reaching to your character’s pectorals, or (as you said as well) all the way to the belt line. By Ogden’s Hammer, that’s a lot of beard!

Even so, you’d get the Klipping Krewe all over ArenaNet’s business about it, endlessly shouting at them for it. I’d rather them avoid the torrent of complaints completely by not doing it. I suppose, though, more beard options would be nice. I’d like to try my hand at making a more rugged norn in the form of my thief.

Same… like proper, trimmed but full beards. I have a beard IRL and it’s definitely not the full, bushy Santa beard that is the only beard in-game… the rest of the options are seriously only stubbles, not beards.

Is it too much to ask for a kitten neckbeard? I should be able to sculpt my character into the likeness of the social paragon that I am in real life. Lesser mortals wish they were me; it’s only fair that other characters wish they were mine too, and a neckbeard (and possibly a tinfoil fedora) is the perfect measure to symbolize such stature.

Yeah, for humans you either have a full total beard or lame pieces puffs of hair in the face, it wouldn’t be hard to add trimmed full beard, longer goatees and so on.
For norns they could go even crazier, longer, stronger … you got the idea.

I’m adding my voice to the request for beards that are somewhere between the tightly trimmed and really full options we currently have on men. The one full beard we have is far too bushy.

Not worked up at all. Just hit the wrong button.

I just want the current mountain man beard to actually match hair texture/color… It always seems low res and off compared to the hair.
More horn/tattoo/pattern options would be great too but i’m not holding my breath.

Anet, please, it has been almost 3 years and my human character has one actual beard to choose from (Which clips with a bunch of medium armor masks btw).

So many hairstyles have been released which is nice, but no new beards. Please humour some of us and give us the choice!

i’ve always been disappointed with human beard choices. we get to choose from a million different 5 o’clock shadows, but only one single beard!

I’m also in.
With HoT I would like to make a human male Revenant and try to model based on myself, but there is no trimmed full beard, you either go with total full beard or small patches of fur around the face, nothing in between.

The characters creation system was created to only make KAWAI characters , if you add beards they are not KAWAI AT ALL.

There are 2 beards for humans that I’d consider to be actual beards. 2 beard options is not enough.

I know there are other threads, but similar to the SAB or RIOT emotive campaign, I’d like BEARDS OR RIOT to evoke such emotion and passion within our community. The oppression on bearded folk must stop.

(Especially when it helps cover up that awful creepy face a lot of weeaboos pick with the weird hair colours to play out their odd fantasies of anime wifu’s in Tyria. All of which turn out ugly… I may be prejudiced against Weeeaboos.)
