Beautiful Pendant
I was going to say a lot of items sold by random merchants are a reference to something or other.
Then I saw it had no stats. That’s really strange and makes me think it must have some other purpose. It can’t be purely a nostalgia item because of the above – they can easily make an item both nostalgic and useful.
I’m not sure what you could do with it though. During a GW1 quest you can find Lady Althea’s ghost in the south of Diessa Lowlands. If anyone feels like potentially wasting 20s you could buy the pendant and take it out there and see if you can find her. She moves around slightly, and of course there’s the issue of matching up locations between the two games but this page might help: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_Duke%27s_Daughter
Neither of them had a grave as far as I’m aware. Althea died shortly after the Searing, was cremated and her ashes retrieved and returned to her father Duke Barradin. They’re now an ascended item.
Rurik died in the Shiverpeaks, around the area that’s now Hoelbrak, and then (spoilers?) was resurrected by the Lich and finally killed in the Ring of Fire Islands. Again as far as I’m aware he doesn’t have a grave because the volcano erupted shortly afterwards and no one who was there had time for a burial. Unless you count tons of lava as a grave.

So i’d guess finding Lady Altheas grave. the ashes was brought back to barradin, her father, whom now resides in barradins tomb, maybe there’d be something in there? iv’e been there on several occasions, and found nothing so far, but maybe a grave in the general area?
