Guild Wars 2

When I first started playing MMOs it was in DAoC. When I had asked someone in the guild how they could afford crafting they all told me that it was an accepted practice to stand in the middle of the main city and ask for “Crafting Coin Donations” in local chat. Needless to say, it wasn’t an accepted practice and I looked like the server fool for the next couple of days.

O’well, all in good fun. Thankfully no-one reported me for harassment or some such infraction.

I loooove messing with beggars. I usually reply with either something wildly inappropriate, or something so uncomfortable they leave the map. Last guy that begged me for money was in LA and I broke out with the silence of the lambs line about “the lotion on it’s skin” except I linked him a stack of butter and told him to put it on, it was hilarious. Had people in map chat falling out of their chairs, because at first he thought I was serious and was about to do it for some gold ^.^

I keep sending them 2 copper and then play dumb when they tell me I’m doing it wrong. They can get quite rude for someone getting FREE COPPER!

You can also send them 2 gold ores for similarly amusing results.

I haven’t had anyone beg me for gold…yet.

I don’t spend a whole lot of time in LA though, unless I’m crafting.
