First, they didn’t say anything about summoning, they mentioned “channeling” which is different. Second, personally I liked Tybalt, but don’t really see him as “legendary.” I mean he only really had 1 true heroic act and it was closing a gate and locking it to by time for others.

If I could, I would. I’d spend many a late evening Channeling my fair Tybalt, a pair of glasses and a bottle of Elonian wine (although he can’t drink anymore)…

I have only three things to say regarding the Revenant:

1. Channel King Adelbern.
2. Cast Foefire
3. Profit (sort of)

Yeah, okay, we don’t have Magdaer. Minor detail. I’m sure his ghost copy will be enough.

On a side note, I always thought it would be nice to see the ghosts of the Order mentors in our home instances during Halloween.

I like Tybalt as much as anyone else. He was a very likeable character, but to make him a summon for the revenant would be outrageous. There are FAR MORE iconic characters throughout Tyria’s history (including my GW1 characters). Tybalt made a great sacrifice, but it pales in comparison to what some other characters in the lore did. Personally I’d rather see Gwen than Tybalt, and Gwen isn’t even as iconic as, say, Master Togo, Shiro, Varesh Ossa, Justicar Hablion, or Jora.

Ok, guys, if you do get him as a summon I want to warn you about a touchy subject.

He has a female tail now and he is a little self conscious about it. No one say anything. Ok? (Poor guy. First death then this)

Pretty sure that Adelbern didn’t go to the Mists after death, but instead his spirit was bound by the Foefire to remain in Tyria until the ghosts could be banished. So I don’t think we’d be able to channel old Addle-brain.

Just tell me how are you supposed to use apples in combat.
