Guild Wars 2

This isn’t a crying post about condi’s or yelling at Anet to fix things. Just want to know what you think is the best class in each category ( PvE, PvP, dungeons etc.).

I’m not sure about ‘best’, but some seem to have improved more than others. All characters are level 80 and have 100% ascended, armor, weapons, and trinkets, including back. Relative to before…

My Necro seems significantly stronger.

My Warrior and Elementalist seem slightly stronger.

My Mesmer seems about the same.

My Guardian seems slightly weaker.

No hard data. Just a feeling I get from playing. Cheers.

Guardian weaker???

I’m enjoying my mesmer most, lots of options and variety so far.

It’s almost a moot point to call “strongest vs weakest” at the moment, re-balancing, bug fixes are going to be pretty constant, let the dust settle for a bit first.

I mainly play 3 profession in WvW and after this change I messed around with my mesmer. Had tons of fun with him so decided to play my elemenetalist. Had the same results, it was tons of fun. Then jumped on my guardian and well same results again LOL So really its hard for me to pick a BEST when each of them is a different play style for me yet I get the same feeling playing each one of them.

I didn’t find guardian weaker…I found him a bit stronger actually. But then again I never ran any meta build, so maybe my weak mace cleric build just got better….

I think it’ll take me a bit more play time though to find out which builds are going to work now that I have more options to choose from. But as of now, I like the burst warrior traits…they are kind of awesome.

so far my guardian feels the strongest, but that is the class I have spent the most time on overall.

my necromancer went through another “I feel like a god” moment after the patch.

my thief went through the lost ricochet crisis, but feels better about venom skills now.

so far so good.

I must be doing something wrong My Guardian now has 200 less armor and needs an extra hit to kill… what used to fall after GS 2 now requires a 1 followup for good measure.

Oh well. At least my beloved Necro feels like he discovered steroids

Go with a Sinister Burn guardian, you won’t regret it!

I am liking Warrior(merged all metas) and Ranger(bye bye LB welcome back gs), havent figured ele yet.
