Best Dragon events ? Opinions.
lol all of them are boring.
Easiest? FE and SB. they die in less than 1 min
Buddy, all of them are basically you hit 1.
Just about every world boss, with the exception of Fire Shaman and Dredge (less now so) usually die within 3-5 min of being up (Claw taking maybe 15-20 min). You can usually suggest FS though, if nothing else is up at the time, and you’ll have a couple of takers (you only need 2-3 to take him down anyways). At least on my server.
Based on your title I thought this was going to be a discussion about the events themselves, not which are the easiest to kill.

The Shadow Behemoth is the coolest looking one IMHO, with Shatterer coming in a close second. I like the chain leading up to SB and enjoy the fight itself (though mechanics would be awesome – at least it’s not “MORE ADDS!”).
The mini-world bosses are fast due to the zerg. Try any of these with 8-12 people and they tend to go longer. Add to that the % of those being deleveled and the time required to complete drops quickly.

Er, sorry “easiest” was the wrong word, my mistake. I wrapped that into “most popular”, because on my server all of the world bosses (besides temples and the eye of zhaitan) have a huge zerg waiting for them and usually die <5min. When I have the time world boss hunting, I can usually kill “all” (not including the temples or one or two of the more obscure ones) of them in about 2-3 hours, depending how the timers line up. I don’t know how other servers are, but from what I’ve seen usually as soon as a boss goes up there’s a zerg waiting for him. Again, sorry for the confusion.
gw2stuff.com gives you all the joinable events. For me tequatl is the most fun with 5 or so people. They all get meaningless when there are more than 15, that can’t be helped with current technological limitations. I used to like Jormag when it was not popular (before guaranteed rare loot).
Yeah fire ele is probably the easiest, it goes down the quickest with the huge mob of players. The other fights artificially extend how long they last by having periods of invincibility.
The most popular is the claw of jormag, being in a level 80 zone he drops the best stuff even if you dont get an exotic/precursor.

I’ll agree, the first time I saw SB, I said, wow that’s the scariest thing I’ve seen in this game, cool! My favorite fight is still Claw though, despite the length of the event I like that it has two phases, and I’ll never get tired of watching him bounce off the ground and smash into a mountain. (Though just a little sad that when the champ patch hit, the champs that he spawned stopped spawning all loot, which just encourages us to ignore them completely. It’s understandable why, but still makes me a bit sad.)

It’s all to the good. I never run into people when Fire Shaman is up, on my server, even though the server population is always very high lol. This is one of the reasons I came up with this thread. Wanted to know which events I should focus on and which one’s would be pointless to focus on. I’ve only gotten lucky a few times on the temple ( Cathedral ) events. Most of the time I go to those and no one is there.

I wasn’t even counting temple runs mostly do to the fact you have to get lucky on if people are doing them when you’re there they are the easiest of all to join in on though

Since when did this business of being a hero become being a business?
My favourite is Jormag. It:
• Has two phases.
• Actually has some interesting design – the Charr weapons are actually great counters to some of the dragon skills.
• Has a nice animation, especially when the dragon falls.
It’s still very flawed and bugged (for example, during the second phase the NPC yells, “Strike now while the wall is down!”, but there is no wall to destroy in the second phase…), but IMO it’s the least bad among the meta events.

all of them. only Jormag can be a bit tedious.
tequautl shadow behemoth and shatterer are my favorite but jungle wurm, fire elemental and golem arent far behind and rather easy jormag takes too much time but is unique but i dont usually do him
