Tested many types but still best place to farm is Dry Top Sandstorm Events. Dust Mites have high chance to drop Lodestones. Chests often give Twister in the Jar . Rare boses drop Monkeys. About 10-15 gold each 20 min per hour isnt that bad. Here is nice Guide

It would be nice but now that the word is out, give it a week tops more than likely, MUCH SOONER you can expect your fun to to be sucked dry in lieu of more useless gem-store items.

Thanks for sharing. Now that word is out about this farm though, we can expect a patch in the next week or so to nerf it into oblivion.

As for those who are talking about a nerf, if everyone starts doing it, the sale value of Twister in a Jar and Lodestones will steadily decrease, making it a less effective farm over time. The only problem I see them acting on is if it harms the precious Legendary market, due to Lodestones.

Same here, I never dropped anythign worth more than 2g that was an entire weekend of farming and my average GPH is pretty low. I make more in Ore and Southsun and those maps are way less frustrating to navigate. Even if I did make more gold there I would still prefer top farm elsewhere cause I really can’t stand the map.

I’m running with 280% and my drops aren’t that great. I also don’t drop a much besides sand. and geodes. The chest aren’t bad but the rest of it really isn’t that good.

Well, considering it takes me 5-10 minutes… It’s like playing a game on my phone while waiting for something. Don’t exactly see anything wrong with that :| . Soon I’ll have my legendary too.

Pretty sure you life has 5-10 minute breaks of having to do nothing.

Compared to what…grinding or running Dungeons/Dry Top? I spend maybe 10 minutes a day in TP, then go about my gaming day having a blast, and come back next day to profit. It’s hands down the easiest and most profitable way to make gold and you can play however you want.

Have fun running path 2 for the 1000th time.

i make roughly 8 to 12 gold an hour, and that’s when i give a baby-cat enough to log in anymore.. it’s not dungeons or trading post, but of course you’re not impressed, you make 100 or so gold in the 15 minutes you log in each day right. . .

Your just making assumptions…incorrectly while being snarky towards those that use the TP to make money as opposed to other more repetitive means. I don’t care how you earn coin, but I bet you do it over and over and over and over and over and it’s more or less groundhog day. I’d rather earn one silver an hour than play that way.

TP flippers don’t actually mind at all and you stated the exact reason why. “He makes it sound so easy”, b/c it is…if you know what you’re doing. But very few have a clue. They read a bunch of ‘nerf flippers’, ‘flippers are manipulating prices with their mountains of gold’ and similar threads/posts.

Then they think, ‘hey! Buy low and sell high! That sounds easy enough…I’ll have a mountain of gold as well!’

Unfortunately, they don’t have the skills or knowledge to understand how the economy works that flippers operate in. So they buy a bunch of stuff at the wrong times/prices then sell a bunch of other stuff at the wrong times/prices. Ultimately, they shake up some markets with artificial supply/demand, they lose some gold, and then, disheartened at the situation, they give up and look for a thread like this one in hopes of grinding some of that gold they lost/hoped to have. That’s what the flippers want them to be off doing anyway.

So cheers to easy gold! The flippers will stay flippers. The farmers/grinders will keep finding places to farm and grind. And..uhhmmm…the PHIWs will still wear Cleric’s gear and make passive builds. For all these people with that fuzzy ‘special snowflake’ feeling of being an individual…everything pretty much looks the same to me.

Well right. I guess if I’m being fair, those who are really adept at flipping may feel that it’s easy (cause that’s usually how the skill curve works – you get good enough to a point and it starts feeling easy at a certain level of challenge).

But for someone like me, who isn’t interested enough to practice and learn, it’s not exactly hard in principle, but it takes a lot of work and practice that I don’t want to invest. So from my perspective, casual success with it is hard.

That said, I tried it once with some success. I just quickly realized that the whole “watching the market” thing was not very compelling to me.

Am i the only one not fully understanding this video?

What i got from it was:

- Do dust mites during the sandstorm
- The best way to get a lot of boxes open during the storm

How about the keys though? do you get enough geodes to buy them or am i missing something?

i never got a single one of any of the items you are mentioning from those events so i think you are just running through some good rng. enjoy it well it lasts
