Because ever since that mesmer reveal (the bart) he has been a nice humorous relief. My first real encounter with him was in Orr, where his music was “loud enough to wake up the dead, the last thing needed”, or when he was singing around LA for Halloween. Now with the entire Wintersday, cant help but feel like I want to strangle him but at the same time pity him.

(Close second is Lord Faren from Queen Jubilee)

How about you?

Magister Sieran, part of the personal story, is the only NPC in the game that felt completely genuine to me. Everything fit perfectly, the voice actor, appearance and demeanor of the character all fit very well. With the exception of a couple of the main characters, every other character I remember encountering feels forced or sub-par.

I used to be a fan of Lord Faren, but after the Queen’s Jubilee I just couldn’t look him in the eyes anymore. –

Trahearne. LOL. Really. I do like him. Of course, that’s my opinion.
And I really love Tybalt (sob) and ShashoooooOoooo, Dinky and now the Ho-Ho-Tron?

Honorable mention for Poobadoo because we get him at every single guild bounty we do and we started stories about him.

I have 2 favourites:

Tybalt – He was such a cool cat and I would love to see more characters like this in the game, to get attached to like I did with Tybalt.

I also like the message Golem in Metrica Province. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, but I followed that little fella through his entire journey and had a good chuckle at every stop.

More NPC’s like this please Anet Especially the discoverable ones like the message golem.

Hmmm…. I have a lot of npcs that I like. Some of the snippets of conversation are just humorous…

Faren… and his “manly panties”…
“Did you bring the delightful Baroness Jasmina? You romantic. Are you trying to get us back together?”
Really Faren, really? sigh Like my character doesn’t have better things to do…

Marjory, although not so much Kasmeer. She’s too flaky for my taste.

Rox: It’s as if this place knows my darkest fears.
Braham: You have fears?
Rox: You tell anyone, and I’ll shave your head while you’re sleeping.
That might actually be an improvement for him….

Master of Peace: Good. You must both now impress me with the enthusiasm of your supporters. If you succeed, we’ll discuss a trade agreement.

After the cutscene
Captain Ellen Kiel: If neither of us gets this trade agreement, it’ll be all your fault.
Captain Evon Gnashblade: My fault? You’re a mouse fart who thinks she’s a hurricane. Please.
Captain Ellen Kiel: Oh yeah? No more being nice. You’re going down, Gnashblade.
Captain Evon Gnashblade: (chuckle) Just stand aside, Ellen, so you don’t get your feelings hurt.

Old lady Merle at Nebo Terrace, she’s like 100 years old, moves at -1 miles per hour, and can barely lift her own arms. But she still remembers being a soldier and they practically have to drag her away from fighting the centaurs.

There is a Vigil Crusader (not named) in Deadman’s Reach in Sparkfly Fen. That boy can sing. Not sure what he’s singing, but he is a virtuoso.
