I’m a new player here and i was wondering if the class has some special ability for the necromancer??

how bout asura? human is too mainstream XD

I won’t worry about race. As racial skills are pretty weak. If PvP go asuran as you can be really small. Though hitbox doesn’t change. You can hide in zergs better

for RP maybe human for Reaper of Grenth
for looks, maybe a dark skinned sylvari? they can look pretty amazing !
for Pve dungeons Norn’s are the best race regardless of class for their Bear Form

I very rarely ever use any of the class specific skills at all and I can do without quite well.

My absolutely favorite race are of course, the Human.
2nd is Norn.
3rd is Sylvari
and 4th and 5th are Asura and Charr. :p

The only difference between them is the looks of the mask you get as starting head item, so pick whichever one you want.

Note that if you want all three you can later create another necromancer, select another mask, and as soon as the game start the mask is unlocked in your wardrobe, then you can just delete that character and create another one with the third mask to unlock it. After that it’s unlocked you can apply the look of any of them (or any other unlocked skin) using one transmutation charge, which you get from the gem story, doing map completions (guaranteed for completion of each of the main cities) and rarely for completing your daily achievements.
