Hello, I know this subject has been brought up before but I have heard a couple different answers on the question of which is the best server for Oceanic players. I read the unofficial Oceanic server is Sea of Sorrows, but I find the server quite dead as there are no group for fractals or dungeons and the WvW is inactive.

One person in game was explaining to me that there are now mega-servers and SoS being the “Oceanic” server is old news.

So my basic question is, as someone living in Taiwan(Oceanic) what is the best server for me to play on. Thanks for your help!

It only matters for WvW, all other content is available region-wide. You can check the Leaderboards for High, Medium and Low-ranked servers and then choose either NA or EU region.

LFG is not just one server. It’s across all the NA or EU servers. As Inculpatus said, the only time servers matter now is for WvW.

In my experience, LFG cycles pretty fast and fills up quickly. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a dungeon party to fill.
