Wanna know your opinion of the best song track in game.
For me as a musician, my choice goes for the theme " A Land Restored ".

From the original soundtrack, I’m partial to “Raven Speaks” (epic music for a Claw Island fight), “Snaff’s Laboratory,” and “The Seraph.” The latter is my phone’s ring tone.

But I really love the newer stuff by in-house people. Battle on the Breachmaker, the Marionette fight, and the pure whimsy of the Wintersday pieces all call to me.

(I am not a musician. I am a listener. If I try to be a musician, people scream as sanity dribbles out their ears. Thus, I speak from the viewpoint of what’s fun to listen to, not what’s fun to play).

Pretty sure Fear Not This Night will always be one of the, if not the, best song in the game.

‘A Land Restored’ and ‘Fahrar’ are my favorites.

Sadly, I don’t know the name of my favorite song in GW2, but it is a song from GW1.

I really enjoy Maclaine’s compositions, as well; especially the new Lion’s Arch song that was just released with this recent patch.

The new Lion’s Arch music is pretty good, and overall I prefer the stuff seen in LWS2 to the vanilla music. Don’t know the names of most music off-hand since most of it runs together and doesn’t leave a lasting impression though (which is the problem when you cycle through a number of songs for any given zone, rather than giving them their own unique theme).

I’d say the Labyrinthine Cliffs music is probably the best I can recall off-hand though.
The piano rendition of Fear Not This Night is one of the better vanilla pieces.
And Crystal Oasis is the best returning piece from GW.

Not in the original soundtrack… and people can say what they want against Scarlet.. but she had -awesome- music! Battle on the Breachmaker, Twisted Marionette Part 1 and 2, thank you Lena and Maclaine for coming up with such great compositions!

Over The Shiverpeaks, I think that’s what it’s called, it’s actually from gw1 but you hear it in Wayfarer Foothills. Absolutely beautiful.
Scales of Issormir. I ruined a pair of earbuds listening to that at max volume lol
Knight of Embers.
Several more that I don’t know the names of yet

The ‘sad’ Lion’s Arch music. Really, really tugs at my heart, makes me think of those epic battles we had in LA during Scarlett’s attack, that was really a great gameplay time.

And now the NEW Lion’s Arch music, which is awesome too, really beautiful. Understated and melodic

edit I left out the Sanctum Sprint music, I’ve no idea what it’s called but I love that too; it always makes me laugh because Sanctum Sprint’s so utterly mental and ridiculous and such good fun, I laugh my way through it XD
