Been a while since I needed karma, but now i need another 575k to have enough for Obsidian Shards to Incinerator. What’s the newest best way? I know of WvW and Queensdale Champ farm, but is there anything that really blows these out of the water?

Nope, get to event farming bud!

Tequatl can get you ~3-7k karma per kill.

fractals 10+ lvls below your reward lvl.

Fractals or WvW (if your server is doing well)… that’s about it

Actually, successfully killing Tequatl gives a nice chunk of karma.
He is however not exactly easy accessible, so regular event farming is probably faster.

Obsidian shards?

Play fractals and buy them with the fractal tokens you get (15 for one shard). Also you get karma for playing finishing a fractal. If you get a fractal 48, you get 145 tokens, which turn into 9 shards. If you are fractal level 48 and play fractal level 48, you get 6400 karma, which means 3 more shards.

So a full run of fractal 48 a day grants 12 shards. If you do 38 and 28, you respectively can buy 11 and 9 more shards.

if you’re fractal level 48 and you beat level 38, you will get 9,440 karma (and 86 relics + 35 each day). If you’re strategic with karma boosters and banners and such, this can be boosted to 18,330 wait, birthday booster as well! 27,848 karma.
just find a good party that can do it in under 45 min and you’ll be overflowing with karma.

You can get shards with laurels as well. 3 laurels for 3 shards.

In addition to the other ways mentioned above, you can get ~20k from Scarlet Invasions.

Scarlet Invasions, Queensdale champ farming, Teq, WvW (especially if your group is focused on capping things).

scarlet invasions always seem like they would give a lot, but I frequently will get bugs where I will get gold credit for completing an event and closing a portal, only to be rewarded with like 17 karma.
