Aside from gathering the content in HoT is super rewarding, lots of stuff to salvage and you can end up getting a lot of gold after a few hours

easiest way is still to buy t6 mats with laurels and then sell them on the TP.

if you have a glut of laurels, convert them to a nice chunk of gold

Not only that, it’s 4th birthday reward. Same happened last year with Electro blue dye, went from 1000g to much less (at birthday launch 3rd).

Playing the TP is probably the most rewarding if you know what you are doing. Otherwise just do AB multiloot farming.

I think this is the bigger reason… the TP sellers can’t compete against free.

I don’t think the TP is easy. It may be rewarding, but is very common to get incorrect, incomplete or false info, with the subsequent bad results.

“Best” depends entirely on the sorts of farming you prefer.

AB Multiloot:
Before AB meta starts, join a squad that divides over as many servers as possible. Join one, aid in the conquest, and pick your fruits.

Fractals:
Dont underestimate the fractals, the unopened boxes are worth 20-30s and the matrices needed for the backpack are worth more than mystic coins.
Clear the dailies on T2 or T3 for the most optimal reward, T1 isn’t much to brag about, and T4 is only worth it if you’re confident in your skills.

Warriors can rush forward. And guardians have two shouts that give speed

And thieves, elementalists and rangers can do short range ports. Mesmers can drop a field to run through that boosts speed, etc. Most professions have traits that can improve speed. It’s not clear cut which profession can cover the most ground the quickest.

I underestimated playing the market… likewise to get better deals when you want to buy stuffs.

Daily = 2 g. Once you level a char to 80 the daily takes 30 mins or less. Sell things u may get from chests you don’t want. May get lucky; explore a map fully for possible more keys. Sell loot be surprised how some mundane gear sells for a lot and adds up.

And yeah materials/nodes if u don’t craft; be amazed how getting low iron for example will get a few gold easily. ALWAYS mine/chop rich resources.

And AB is assuming you have HoT AND an 80 char. Like many MMOs gold/credits/etc. is a lot more easily gotten at full level.
