Since EotM has gone to crap recently, with everyone just wanting to fight zergs and defend stuff, what is the best way to farm karma now? I do Tequatle every day, but is there something more I can do outside of WvW? World bosses are out because they give as much karma as flipping a camp in WvW does, and I can do that by myself faster than world bosses.

Yes, but that is mind-numbingly boring. I was thinking of something that involves me actually doing more than running around clicking “F.” Do the events in SW give good amounts of karma quickly?

Not as quick as EotM but you’re better off doing the chest farm as you indirectly gain more karma by a very large margin through the shards you get. If you’re not going for legendary weapons, or to refine T7, then this farm will not be as valuable to you for direct karma.

For example, I average about 14 obsidian shards per run which is about 20 minutes. That’s just a little over 29K karma I made indirectly in that single run.

In no particular order, here are some ways to stock up on obsidian and/or karma:

• Silverwastes chest farm
• Silverwastes event farm (with buffs)
• Open-world event chains (especially in Orr), including the Harathi Hinterlands Centuar-vs-Seraph, the pre-events for several world bosses (SB, Clawr of Jormag, Maw,…), etc
• Low-level fractals (if you have a personal FotM level >10).
• Tequatl

Come EotM and i pour hot oil over you.
