Where are some of the spots you experienced level 80’s farm for gold located ?

There are no “spots” for gold farming. The only thing that bring constant stable income in the open PvE world is ori/sapling mining and crafting for multiple characters. With 5 chars you can make 6-8 gold in an hour or two (per day). Unfortunetly, Anet are being kitten and move around the nodes every day. Otherwise, its all about CoF1 or at the moment, instigator farming in Southsun.

Run Citadel of Flame part 1, kill instigators on Southsun or just chase world bosses.

Excuse this Noob question but, COF is a dungeon isn’t it ? and from what I’ve been told you can’t run those solo.

Ah; if u want to farm solo; go S Cove follow zerg to kill n loot chest
Or go v2.gw2stuff.com to hunt world boss.

I really don’t feel like there are “areas” as long as you use good strategy.
1 – Keep food buffs up
2- Keep banner buffs up. LA usually has Guild banners up and the buff is worth the Wp cost.
3- Don’t stop moving and use speed buffs the faster you move and kill the more money you make.
4- Try to use lots of Aoe. Kite as many mobs as you can handle into a bundle and kill them all at once.
5- Don’t go too far out of your way for resource nodes – they slow you down unless it’s tier 5 or 6 because they just don’t make you enough money per hour.
