What do you think are the best race suited for each class?

For me, they are:

Warrior
Max size charr (spinal blades or zephyr rucksack and tier 3 cultural armor = beast)
Human Male (Animations and postures are really nice and fluid)

Guardian
Asura (Tier 3 cultural armor is too cool + staff 4 animation is awesome)

Engineer
Asura (Grenade tossing doom from a little guy)
Charr (Flamethrower on a charr is awesome, if it becomes viable that is)

Ranger
Norn (they remind me of elves)
Sylvari (they remind me of wood elves)

Thief
Human Female (underboob)

Mesmer
Human Female (pretty dresses for pretty girls)
Max size Norn (Clones of huge people totally obsures the battlefield)

Necromancer
Human Female (The people necroing threads in this forum is testament to it)

Elementalist
Sylvari (Plant looks good with elemental attunements)

Human Males can make good Mesmers if you wanna go for someone who is a really suave carny.

I’d like to deviate from the norm a bit when it comes to picking a race and profession. Like a Charr Mesmer.

For me as far as aesthetics go, it depends on how the weapons and armour can be matched for the race, as well as their unique physical characteristics

Norn males and Charr are just…grotesquely proportioned to me, but they can do make good Warriors. Asura as well actually. Make the tiniest lil’ Warrior possible, slap a greatsword on him and use 100 blades. Hilarious.

Slyvari cultural gear looks great on Rangers, especially with the Spirit build and/or Kudzu. They’re ideal for Mesmers and Ele as well.

Asura make good Engineers. Second choice would be Human.

Guardian is kind of ‘vanilla’. That class works with anything. I guess if I had to choose I’d go with Human or Norn.

Human or Slyvari for Thief. (I have a Human female thief, no underboob top though… chuckles)

I’d go with Slyvari for Necro too because you can actually make them look pretty creepy.

If a Charr would go for a Necro, I’d picture him to be more of a warlock.

Oh yes you can make sylvari necros look pretty creepy and kitten. This is my necro, and she still needs some dye adjustment, but for now I really love this appearance.
