Hi Guys,

Just wondering what the best server currently is for Aussie/Nz/Oceanic region?

I heard Sea of Sorrows has heaps of aussies and was the ‘unofficial’ Oceanic server but it’s always full.

Is there any others with a high number of aussies/nz’ers?

I’m on Fort Aspenwood. Not sure about the rest of the servers, but my guild’s leader, several officers, and about 20 of the active players (out of 50) play during Oceanic time. Most are Aussies or from NZ. I tend to play at that time as well.

Perhaps you could go to a Meta/World Boss Event (such kittenterer), and ask in map chat which server they’re on. There are lots of players at that time. Good Luck!

If you don’t care about WvW it really doesn’t matter at all. If you do care, that’s a harder choice. You’d have to see which servers are doing better and then pick the one that has the most Aussies.

Lots of Aussies on Tarnished Coast, but it’s full too.

As far as I knew, Sea of Sorrows is the unofficial oceanic server.

Yeah, plenty of us on IoJ. Or were plenty, anyway. Can’t be sure anymore with the megaserver system.

You can get onto SoS if you really want to. Try waiting until EU hours of the day or check the server status around midnight AU time. Server population is based on the number of players currently logged in. Obviously for the unofficial Oceanic server, AU hours will be the most populated hours of the day and can push the server into “full” status. If you try to join the server during a different time of the day it’s very easy to get on and you will never think about it again.

FA used to have a lot but a bunch moved to SOS and I think the biggest ocx guild quit? (Unreal Aussies).

FAs NA primetime is much bigger though. So you could join SOS and dominate AU time or try and help FA be better overall.
