I was wondering what the best way was to obtain karma.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you complete the daily to get your hands on the 4.5k karma jug for a start and just save them up until you actually need them. You can then use all the karma boosts in the game to double(?) the actual karma you get from the bottles.

Daily, monthly and dungeons.

Firstly, do dailies / monthly. Save the karma jugs till you get a decent amount, then pop a karma booster, as well as any guild karma boosts (banner or timed) your guild has, and drink the lot.
Secondly, WvW has the potential for a lot of karma. Capturing camps, sentry points and ganking dolyaks can net you a decent amount. Weigh in on tower / keep sieges only if they’re organized, and have siege equipment otherwise you’re just wasting your time.
Ascalon Catacombs can be a good source if you get a decent group able to burn through it fast.

Complete the monthly/dailies and run dungeons. Use full boosters when you consume the jugs.

Bamn, you have a tonne of karma.

I found WvWvW an excellent place for farming Karma. It is also pretty simple to complete the daily while WvWing. Actually you don’t even farm, you just play and have fun, and if you get bored you can still go the jumping puzzles there.

Before all else, get the monthly and daily achievements and pop the jugs with a karma booster for +50%. Monthly should have a bit of preplanning, but even my casual self got it yesterday.

Secondly, I would recommend WvW for events. Starting in foreign borderlands allows you to kill the southern supply route which is almost always free karma.

Third, dungeons. These net a lot of gold too.

Fourth, farm events in Orr. This is probably the fastest, but also a bit boring in my opinion. I don’t like to hunt events, I want to find them per accident.

Daily is the best karma for your effort — especially if you pop a +50% karma booster before consuming the jug.

After daily, I’d recommend a mobile zerg in WvW. A good zerg in this case is one that keeps moving from camp to camp in WvW, killing dolyaks, capturing camps/points, etc. It nets fast karma and decent coin (unbelievable I know).

CoF p1 is a great way of farming karma. You get ~3 small bottles of karma each run. With karma banner, guild buff and karma booster you get 680 from a small bottle.
