I offer free help to people in party search, with some people find to be bad for there business. so they enter my party dismantle it and leave.

i easily can get there names and i would like to report them.

can i just use the ingame lfg abuse option for this? i can’t ad an explanation to that report.
or can i mail these names to an address?
using forum for this seems a bit harsh :P

I believe LFG abuse is the perfect category for this.

With how broken LFG currently is they are most likely not doing it on purpose. I joined 10 groups last night that i had no intention of joining and immediately left.

well i also had 2 time where they ended my party search before leaving. with players wont do if they got the wrong one

I would report in LFG Abuse AND start a thread in the Game Bugs forum. (Yes I know its not exactly a bug but is a Support Forum.) But don’t list names in that thread as I believe it is against the forum rules. Instead say that you have names and Anet can ask for them privately if they want.

and i hope some1 from Anet can confirm this

a dungeon run is for fun for every1 and it must be free also
and not to be come a model to earn money

They do it to me when I’m looking for help to do living story achieves. Its really a kittenish move to do.

It has been stated and confirmed that selling a dungeon is not an abuse and is licit to do, unless the seller/s has used exploitable cheats to complete the dungeon.
Everyone can run dungeons for free, the fact sellers exist don’t imply anyone is forced to buy unless it’s what they want.

As someone mentioned – while lfg abuse is a valid and existing problem, that should be reported (regardless of the form it takes), at least some of the recent situations can really be caused by LFG interface being broken since last LS patch. It is currenly all too easy to join wrong group without meaning to do so – and if you have joined as a 5th member, the lfg is instantly and automatically cancelled.

Explanations/notes are not allowed. They are too confusing.

Gaile specifically said there would be no Notes section added, so you can forget about that request.

‘their’ which denotes ownership or possession, not ‘there’, which denotes place. E.g, My name, your name, our names and ‘their’ names.

Selling a dungeon run is no different than selling the droks run from back in the day. If you’ve got the coin and want the easy way through the game by having someone else do the work for you, then have at it.

If you’re the last one to join the lfg automatically goes away. and what one person said before with how broken the lfg is right now there’s no telling if them joining at any point is making the lfg go away or not.

Last time I tried to use it I wound up in several parties that I didn’t mean to join because where I clicked wasn’t the group anymore. >.<

Also even without it bugging out I’ve seen the LFG just mysteriously disappear a couple times for no reason.

At the moment, I do not believe it is worth pursuing…
The LFG tool is acting very horrid at the moment…
Refreshing every half a second or so, make its almost
impossible to join the group you’re looking to join.

It took me about two-three attempts to join a TEQ Taxi,
each time i went to click it, I would get thrown in the party
above or below it.

Unless you have proof that they are doing it out of malice, I wouldn’t worry about it.

As fast as the LFG tool is refreshing I am assuming folk are trying to join a group, clicking and getting the wrong group and then dropping out once they realize it. And once the group is full it drops from the list. The refresh is so fast right now it is hard to make sure you click on the right group before it bounces again…. It is like playing whack a mole trying get into the correct group…. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon.

well mean reason i posted this was because i had just me in party then some one joined that person selected the remove party search with system chat was so kind to tell me and after that he left the party.
also had few drop in and leave ges party bug can be blamed for that. but in those cases it never told me that member ended the party.

any ways for now i guess its better to wait till they fixed the party tab.

don’t feel bad I have ppl join and for some reason think they must be the ones to post LFM, they take it down, put it back up again

This is correct. And the fact that sellers exist is not the players fault. It’s Anet’s fault for designing the dungeon poorly. If their original goal is for the dungeon to be cleared by 5 people, then they failed in their design, and the design should be adjusted accordingly. Oh but wait… they killed their dungeon team… such a great plan!
