The variety of armor is kilts and buttskirts for all types. Some people want form fitting and Anet knows it because free accounts are blocked from buying all risque armors on TP.

The current armors would be fine if just half of all trench coats and heavy butt skirts could be reduced to hip line or higher.

Look to GW1 for inspiration on how armors should be cut.

For example, try buying sneakthief armor on TP on a free account.

Free accounts are extended trial accounts. If they want the full package including risqué armor they can always buy the game. Until then the options of these extended trial accounts will be limited.

The problem is not the limitations….it is that ANET is aware of what customers like by showing it through limitation……

I say that I as a customer who had paid “accounts” plural do want more form fitting armors and I think a large community agrees with me…

LOL…THIS IS NOT ABOUT FREE ACCOUNTS…

Everyone is aware that the crowd wants this and ANETS behavior proves its

Sorry. Misread your post and deleted. Thought you were arguing for more items for free accounts

For example, try buying sneakthief armor on TP on a free account.

You can get armor with that skin from drops too, and the human tier-three medium armor is even skimpier and is purchasable directly from an npc. F2P accounts are in no real way “Blocked” from getting “skimpy” armors.

Mind you, I absolutely would love to see more GW1 based armors and weapons. Arenanet could only benefit from using classic skins. But people complaining about the armors in this game because they don’t show enough kitten is really whiny. Plus its not like most the GW1’s sets were much better in those regards.

the community is simply STARVING for armour.
indeed i’d like some form fitting stuff, but i’d also like some simple armours,
its shocking how few armours have been added over the four years.

Skimpy armor exist.

Problem is they only make skimpy armor for the females with very few skimpy armor for males, especially on cloth and leather types.

yeah, that’s the issue. arenaet is supposed to be marketed as being progressive, but having only a hot lesbian couple and making sexy armor mostly (almost only ) for female characters really doesn’t go with the whole “progressive” concept.
ESO uses exactly the same model for costumes, for males or females, and same for armor, and there’s tons of lgbt npc’s too, not only “hot lesbians” that gets old rally quick. If gw2 wants to keep selling the “progressive” image it should probably re think some of these issues too.
